One of the most interesting topics for me is how various render programs work on different styles in the 3D industry.
With this head sculpt I practice on getting likeness and realism right, but also how Marmoset and Maya would render my work and what settings are needed for a proper result. Marmoset is the first step.
I wanted to see how far and if Marmoset can interact with Zbrush fibermesh, and also how my skin detailing looks there. It also gives a different view on how my sculpt looks and if likeness is still achieved.
My next step for this project is to convert my fibermesh into nhair or xgen hair in maya and then render my head sculpt in arnold.
my work time so far on this is: 15 days, à 6 hours
Marmoset Test (getting to know marmoset and how it works on realism meshes + how sculpt and textures interact with light before rendering in Arnold)
